Asian Marinade for Chicken & Steak

Asian Marinade  Ingredients 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 Tbsp sesame oil 1 Tbsp fresh minced ginger 3 cloves minced garlic 1 to 2 lbs of chicken or steak salt & pepper to taste Directions Combine ingredients in a large ziplock bag.  Place meat inside bag and move it around to make sure its evenly coated.  Marinade overnight for chicken and top sirloin or flank streak or 2 hours for ribeye, ny strip or filet.  Grill.  We like to sprinkle with a little garlic salt and garnish with green onions after grilling.

Baked Garlic and Chicken Ginger Drumsticks

Ingredients 2 to 3   lbs   chicken drumsticks  around 10 drumsticks 8   cloves   garlic 1   inch   piece of ginger root 1/2   cup   parsley 1/4   cup   soy sauce 1/4   cup   olive oil salt and pepper to taste Instructions Add all ingredients (drumsticks excluded) to a blender or a magic bullet and pulse a few times until garlic and ginger are a paste and the mixture emulsifies. Place the drumsticks in a large ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Close the bag and place in fridge; let it marinade for about 20 or 30 minutes. Could be marinated overnight. Preheat oven to 375 F degrees. Place the chicken and all of the marinade in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for about 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and browned on the outside. Notes Serve these drumsticks with a side of  mashed potatoes , or  rosemary roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts.
