Bacon and Cheddar Jalapeno Poppers

Prep Time:  15   minutes Cook Time:  20   minutes Total Time:  35   minutes Servings:  6   or in my house just 1person ;) Ingredients 12   jalapeno peppers 1   cup   cream cheese 1   cup   cheddar cheese 2   shallots   , minced 1   garlic clove   , minced 1/2   tsp   salt 1/2   tsp   paprika 10   slices   cooked bacon   , crumbled Instructions Make the cheese filling by mixing the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, shallots, garlic, salt and paprika. Stir in some of the bacon crumble reserving some for the topping. Core the jalapeno peppers and/or remove the stems off the mushrooms. Fill the peppers and/or mushrooms with the cheese mixture and top with the remaining bacon crumble. Bake in a 350F oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.

Margarita Fruit Dip

INGREDIENTS 1 pkg (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese, softened 2 tbsp (30 mL) orange juice 1 tsp (5 mL) lime zest 3 tbsp (30 mL) lime juice 1 tbsp tequila  1/4  cup (50 mL) powdered sugar 1/2  cup (125 mL) thawed frozen whipped topping 1 lb (450 g) whole strawberries, peaches, bananas, apples, cantaloupe DIRECTIONS Combine cream cheese, orange juice, lime zest, lime juice, tequila, if desired, and powdered sugar with a beater. Process until blended and smooth.  Stir in whipped topping until blended.   Put the dip in a bowl. Surround with fruit. Fresh Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

Prep Time: 15 minutes Bake Time: 10-12 Minutes Download Ingredients to the Swift Shopper App here:  https://tzy1.app.link/ r6IdqvGUvH 1 loaf French Bread 3 large ripe tomatoes, seeded and diced (about 1 pound) 1/2 medium zucchini, coarsely chopped (about 1/2 cup) 1/4 cup snipped fresh basil leaves 1 garlic clove, pressed 2 tsps balsamic vinegar 1/2 tsp olive oil 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp ground black pepper 2 Tbls grated fresh Parmesan cheese 1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Arrange bread slices on flat baking stone. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. 2. In Small Batter Bowl, combine tomatoes, zucchini, basil, garlic pressed with Garlic Press, vinegar, oil, salt and black pepper; mix gently. Using Medium Scoop, scoop tomato mixture over bread slices. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately. Yield: 24 appetizers
